During his twenty-four year military career, Cliff served as Chief of the Coast Guard’s Physical Evaluation System. He was awarded the Coast Guard Meritorious Service Medal for his work, which transformed the Coast Guard’s Wounded Warrior Program into a customer-focused, efficient and transparent system. Now a retired U. S. Coast Guardsman, Commander Bayuk is a permanent board member of the Joint Service Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR), adjudicating appeals from Wounded Warriors for additional disability compensation on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security and the American people. A 1995 graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Commander Bayuk has a strong background in Healthcare and Public Policy Management. His professional interests include law, facilitation, mediation, and negotiation. His hobbies center around his family, community and golf.
Bob helped establish our parent company, Advanced Telecom Services in 1989. Advanced Telecom Services (ATS) grew from a start-up, with no outside funding, to $62.2 million in annual sales and offices in the USA, Canada, UK, Czech Republic, and Taiwan. He has since started many companies branching off ATS as technology has changed, including mobile-first digital agency Purplegator. Bob has seen the company transition from a landline phone company, to an internet company, and now to a mobile marketing agency. To share his expertise, Bob recently published a 354 page book, Relevance Raises Response: How to Engage and Acquire with Mobile Marketing, which is now available for purchase at RelevanceRaisesResponse.com, Amazon, and other fine online book retailers. He currently teaches a graduate level course in mobile marketing at the University of Denver. Bob is a baseball coach and has seen six of his players go on to play professionally.
Sam Sharma is a Chartered Accountant and provides all bookkeeping and financial analysis services to Advanced Federal. Sam is responsible for all banking relationship and employee payroll. Sharma brings a wealth of experience to the team with his 17 years of experience in bookkeeping and Accounting.
Amber DeShields-Burks is marketing coordinator for Advanced Federal. Amber’s role with the company is to identify potential opportunities to pursue and then lead the proposal team in the development of the documentation required for submission.
